Have Your Say

There are many ways you can get involved or have your say at Craven District Council.

Contact your Councillor who is your community leader, and can help if you are dissatisfied with a local service or you have other concerns about matters in your community.

Ask a question -  all council and committee meetings  have a public participation session (normally up to 15 minutes but can be longer) at the start of the meeting where you can ask a question or make a statement on matters being discussed or on something which you'd like to bring to the Council's attention. Advance notification of questions is helpful but not essential.  Look at the details of the word icon Public Participation Scheme for Committees [28kb] or contact  Democratic Services for more information.

Get involved with projects in your local area, find out about volunteering, and more.

Consultations: have your say in Council and other local consultations.

Create or take part in a petition: Craven District Council 's Petitions Scheme enables anyone who lives, works or studies within the Craven District, including people under 18, to sign or organise a petition and trigger a response from CDC.

Use our Complaints, Comments, and Compliments Procedure - we value your feedback.
