Request a new/replacement blue bin

Please note that in cases where a bin is a first issue, has been damaged, lost or stolen or where a property previously provided with a container no longer possesses a bin, it is Council's policy to make a charge for the bin.

We will contact you to inform you of any charge before delivery of the bin/pod is made.

We are currently receiving a large number of requests for new blue bins and pods. If you are waiting for a delivery, please continue to use your usual recycling methods until we can deliver a new one.

From April 1, 2017, we are changing the way we collect your recycling, making it easier for you to recycle.

The collection arrangements will be simplified: all your recyclates (paper, cans, plastic, glass and card) will be collected on the same day in the blue bin. This takes away the need for multiple visits and removes the need for blue bags and so we are no longer taking requests for new blue bags.
