Polling stations

There are approximately 65 polling stations within the Craven District. They are usually based in convenient locations, such as community centres, church halls and other public buildings.

Polling stations are staffed by Presiding Officers and Poll Clerks who are there to help electors vote and make sure the election runs smoothly and legally.

During elections, we send people who are registered to vote a polling card that shows the local polling station to which they will need to go to vote, (unless they have applied for a postal vote), Polling hours are from 7am to 10pm.
