Joint Principles for Engaging Communities

Craven District Council is committed to engaging with its communities to make sure that the improvements it makes and the services we deliver reflect the needs and desires of its residents. Craven District Council has adopted the pdf icon North Yorkshire Partnerships Joint Working Principles for Engaging Communities [207kb] as an in house standard that applies to all engagement and consultation activities carried out by the Council.

Community Engagement Toolkit

The word icon Community Engagement Toolkit [1Mb] gives advice and guidance on how to engage with specific groups and techniques and methods you could use to engage with these groups. The Toolkit also outlines the CDC procedures regarding community engagement and has a number of useful forms to help you with this.
