Craven Leisure’s Revive Café reopens with indoor and outdoor seating from July 4
Craven District Council is reopening the Revive Café in Craven Leisure fully from Saturday July 4, with indoor and outdoor seating available.
The café, in Aireville Park, Skipton, has been serving takeaway drinks and ice-cream since June 8.
However, with lockdown easing further, cafes are able to seat customers inside and outside from Saturday.
The Revive Café will be open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 4pm.
There will be a breakfast menu of bacon, sausage and egg sandwiches, eggs or beans on toast and teacakes. The lunch menu includes a selection of sandwiches, toasties and fresh salads, and fresh cakes and hot and cold drinks will also be available.
Anthony Slater, Deputy Manager at Craven Leisure, said: “We’re delighted that we are able to open up our Revive Café fully from Saturday July 4.
“We look forward to welcoming customers back, and hope it won’t be too long before we can reopen Craven Leisure fully. In the meantime, please come along and enjoy yourselves at our Revive Café.
“Please do be mindful of social distancing to keep our staff and other customers safe, and follow the queuing system and signage.”
Indoor and outdoor seating will be subject to availability and weather dependent. The take-away service will also remain, and toilet facilities are available.
Customers are asked to make card payments only. Tables have been positioned following social distancing guidelines of 2m. There will be a queuing system and signage in place, and a table service once orders have been placed. There will be a designated waiting area for takeaway orders.
Craven Leisure is also holding a selected number of fitness classes outdoors in Aireville Park and in the multi-use games area.
Current fitness members can access one free class per week as well as access to all the Craven Leisure online class workouts on YouTube and Facebook.
Classes will have a limited number of five spaces to adhere to all the latest government guidelines. Activities are open to current members and casual customers. Activities must be booked online prior to arrival, at www.cravendc.gov.uk/craven-leisure/book-activities-online/
Social distancing measures will be in place throughout the session. Sessions may be cancelled in the event of very poor weather conditions at the discretion of the instructor on the day.
